Shaston Prince has excellent conformation,a true to type head and a dense, crimpy and very fine fleece.
He started working in 2007. The shorn fleece photograph is of his 4th fleece (2009). His 2012 (7th) fleece was exceptionally good for a working stud of Princes' age and he is still cutting a very good weight..

All of Prince's cria are fabulous. He has yet to produce anything that one couldn't happily take into the show ring. They have excellent conformation, good bone, crimp and fleece density and a desirable short head. They also have very low micron fleeces. In our opinion, his cria are at least as good or better than anything produced by studs whose fees may be considerably higher. All of his cria are solid coloured and often darker than both parents, so, to date , he seems to be a good choice for those wishing to breed top quality fawns and browns. One of his daughters Snowshill Tabitha was awarded Champion Fawn Female Huacaya at the 2009 Spring Alpaca Fiesta, Best British Bred huacaya at the Royal Bath and West and, Champion Fawn Huacaya and Best British Bred Huacaya at the 2009 Three Counties Show and was 1st Senior Fawn Female at the 2014 National Show.. All three of his 2008 cria were placed at the 2009 BAS National Show. Another daughter, Snowshill Felicity, was first placed Adult Fawn Fleece at the 2011 Scottish National Fleece Show and at the 2013 Futurity Fleece Show and has won a number of Dam's progeny classes. A son, Snowshill Vivaldi was Reserve Champion Beige Male at the 2012 SWAG show and Reserve Champion Intermediate Male at the 2012 Three Counties Show. Several of his other offspring have also been well placed in shows Including Snowshill Persephone (Champion Fawn Female at 2013 North Somerset). Snowshill Octavia was 1st placed Junior Light Fleece at the 2013 Futurity Show and was Supreme Champion and Best British Bred Huacaya at the 2013 Royal Three Counties Halter Show. Another son. Snowshill Prospero, was Reserve Champion Junior Male at the 2013 Three Counties Show. Prince has yet to produce a cria that one wouldn't be happy to take in the show ring. Many of his cria are now seniors themselves and are holding fine fleeces and winning both their halter and fleece classes. Snowsill Fifi, another daughter, was Champion Light Female at the 2015 North Somerset and Royal Three Counties Shows.

Prince's sire is the famous Coricancha Fernando of Wessex - producer of many prize winning offspring. His dam, Patience, was the 1999 National BAS Show Supreme Champion and has, also, produced a number of show winning off-spring.
